Modifying SAP Standard Menu We'll learn how to modify the standard SAP menu that appears on every screen of the system. Let's say we want to add a Z transaction to the standard menu: Access Transaction SE41: Enter MENUSYST in the Program field. Select the MEN Status and continue. Inserting Entries: Right-click on the System options within the menu bar. Select "Insert Entries". Pay attention to any warnings and insert our Z transaction along with a brief description. Setting Transaction Type: Double-click on the transaction and set the function type as T, which corresponds to a transaction. Finally, activate the changes. Deactivating Options: If we wish to deactivate the new menu option, press the "Functional Code" button. When connecting to SAP, the standard menu S000 is automatically presented. However, this menu can be replaced by any other. This configuration is done through user-specific data. If we want to add extra transactions to the standard menu, we can do so using transaction SE43: Copying Standard Menu: Copy the S000 menu with another type, say Z. Modify the Z menu and add a new transaction to one of the folders. When adding the new entry, provide the transaction name and a description. Activate the Z menu. Incorporating User-Specific Data: Incorporate the Z menu into our user-specific data.
